Louisiana Trip May 2009

It has been a crazy 2009! The spring was busy for Josh and Molly at work and Andy and John in school. After the kids were out in May, we headed to Geismar, LA for a visit to Gi and Gramps. Andy spent several days there by himself and then we joined him. The weekend was fun-filled and John celebrated his 2 1/2 birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed catching up with all of Josh's high school friends and wives, and the next generation (all boys until Gretchen arrives later this summer) had a great time too!

We went back to Geismar a week later after learning that Josh's Dad, Bob, had had a heart attack. We were able to be there for a few days to help. Bob is recovering well and adding a little exercise to his routine.

They still love Krispy Kreme. We live farther away now, but we make the drive into Austin to celebrate with our favorite donuts.

Our New House

Finally! It's done! We moved in on November 7. The boxes aren't all unpacked, but we are settling in. We left for a 10 day Thanksgiving trip to Indiana two weeks after moving leaving a lot undone at the house. Oh well! We are looking forward to Christmas in the new house.
